The benefits from higher education &
advanced training in hair design

The fact is if you want to be popular, busy, famous and priced at the top, you had better cut hair differently from everyone else. Simply put, your haircuts must be finer than those of the hairdressers around you and must offer something that none of your competition can!

The bottom line is you are selling your skill, knowledge, creativity and experience. If people like your unique style in cutting their hair and you keep giving them the best haircut of their lives, and they never become  bored with your haircuts, you become both irreplaceable and indispensable. Then, they will naturally stick with you for a very long time if not forever!

“Hair designer” is not just a title used to upgrade oneself, and knowing how to give great haircuts is not exactly the same as knowing hair design.

You cannot promote, market and advertise yourselves as a great haircutter; you have to earn the title.

Knowing how to cut certain amount of great haircuts may make you a great haircutter, but it does not make you a great hair designer.

Without knowing hair design, you will have a hard time being creative enough to customize a haircut for each individual. If you are not creative enough to improve your haircuts, you will have a hard time breaking the glass ceiling by working in a better salon for a wealthier clientele at a higher price.

The simple question is: Do you want to succeed in your profession?

Once you have understood all of the hair design diagrams in the book, you will comprehend how all of the different haircuts are being created and constructed, and you will no longer need to follow other hairdressers and copy their haircuts. Once you master hair design, you will truly be a designer, craftsman and artist, all in one person; and hence, you will have more fun at work and have more success in your profession as well.
