Hue way, the graphic designer is the co-partner to the creation and discovery of this first- of- its- kind hair design elements and their relativity. Without him, it was almost impossible for me to visualize the possibility of finishing this project- the amount of time and effort spent was enormous!

His skill, knowledge, experience and creativity, along with his work ethic and professionalism are hard to find in one body; together, these attribute, have made him both valuable and greatly appreciated.

Four solid years of continuous effort, as well as unshakable faith and determination were what it took to create 4 volumes of Hair Design Elements & Components.

It was truly a combination of art, craft and design coming together in this creative process.

I had to draw each image from scrap, followed by using the computer to turn the drawings into graphic diagrams. Hue and I then, corrected each page of diagrams numerous times to make them perfect. Each page needed artistic input to make it both explicit and exciting to look at, without rendering it complicated or confusing.

I can never thank him enough for his undeterred belief in this project as well as his willingness to relentlessly work hard and continually communicate with me to help turn my vision into reality. He never had doubts in what I was doing; I saw only great patience and perseverance in reading my mind, so that he could take the diagrams in my head and produce them onto screen and paper.

If these diagrams one day can help hairdressers become professional hair designers, he will be saluted as the one who helped start the first evolution of the hairdressing industry since Vidal Sassoon. Because of his contribution, hairdressers will no longer merely cut hair; at last, they will truly be designing hair!
